History

• Originally powered by two Detroit Diesel 4-71 engines, all Scenicruisers were repowered in 1961-2 with the Detroit Diesel 8V71
• Restored in the early 2000s
• Used on a 2,000 mile road trip through the USA in 2013

Special Features

• One of only approximately 20 known to survive as seated coaches, the remainder having been scrapped or converted to motorhomes
• Each seat has an individual Motorola radio tuner installed in the parcel rack above
• Self-leveling air suspension
• Monocoque construction, with the engine hanging from the floor above
